About us
Eidegrend originates from a historic farmstead, preserved through generations. Our boutique hotel is inspired by local history and tradition. With soul and character, we want to give our guests a unique accommodation with cultural heritage and modern comfort.

Lisbeth & Inge-Brigt
Our desire is to preserve the beautiful and venerable cluster yard and convey the wonderful history of the yard and the hamlet.
In February 2020 we started rebuilding the barn. Demolition of animal stalls, digging, plastering and scouring. Internal silo that had to be demolished to make room for a new use of space in the kitchen. Long days, evenings, weekends and with good help from our three children, Camilla, Marita and Fredrik and their boyfriends have created what has today become a great restaurant kitchen and party venue "Floren Mat & Kultur".
At first we commuted from Eidegrend to Bergen where we both had permanent jobs. Inge-Brigt as an independent consultant in Construction Administration and Lisbeth as an economist at DNB. Lisbeth resigned from her position after 35 years in the group – August 2021. Inge-Brigt continues in her daily work in Bergen.

BOUTIQUE HOTEL
By offering accommodation in the small houses in the cluster yard, you will experience the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the old authentic log houses. In addition, you can stroll around the yard, by the stream and the hamlet in general.
Below you will find what characterizes a boutique hotel. We can identify with this and want our guests to do the same.

In addition, the place – Eidegrend – where the cluster garden is located is rich in exciting history.
Focuses on good food and drink and uses local products
